InterVISTAS Consulting Inc. was commissioned by the Prince Rupert Port Authority to provide an update to the economic impact of ongoing operations at the Port of Prince Rupert. The Port Authority is responsible for the management and operations of the port in the Prince Rupert Harbour. InterVISTAS completed an economic impact study for PRPA in 2009.

LAND USE MANAGEMENT PLAN

Pursuant to the Canada Marine Act, S.C. 1998, c.10, the Prince Rupert Port Authority (PRPA) is required to develop a detailed land use plan that contains objectives and policies for the physical development of the real property and immovables that it manages, holds or occupies and which take into account relevant social, economic and environmental matters and zoning bylaws applicable to neighbouring lands. This 2020 Land Use Management Plan (LUMP) updates the former Land Use Plan (2000) and defines the physical development objectives for approximately the next ten years.
